Latido Music, the only global free television network dedicated to fans of all genres of Latin Music, has inked a content deal with Nacional Records, a taste-shaping force in the genre.
The announcement was made by Latido Executive Vice President and General Manager Stephen Brooks and Nacional founder Tomas Cookman.
Under the agreement, Latido Music will have access to the record label’s entire music video library, including award-winning artists Aterciopelados, Ana Tijoux, Bomba Estereo, and Nortec Collective. Music videos from Nacional Records will rotate heavily on the 24/7 Latido Music Channel, available on connected TV platforms everywhere.
“Nacional Records is a visionary and influencer in the industry with an independent spirit similar to our own,” says Brooks. “As we build Latido Music to be the home for lovers of Latin Music, we want to represent its past, present and future, in every genre and niche. Nacional Records checks all the boxes.”
Tomas Cookman started Nacional Records in 2005. In a few short years, the label gained an international reputation for expanding Latin culture while breaking new, independent, genre-agnostic artists. Cookman is now CEO of the global Latin artist platform Industria Works, that owns Nacional Records and the high profile Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC), with headquarters in Los Angeles and teams operating in New York, Mexico City, Madrid, Barcelona and London.

Latido Music has rapidly grown an audience of millions of households since its launch in June 2019.
The 24-hour channel is currently available on Samsung TV+, LG Channel+, TiVo+, Vizio, Xumo, Distro.TV, and the Latido Music connected TV app on Roku, FireTV, AppleTV and Android TV.
