5 Songs You Didn't Know Were Written by Justin Quiles

Urban up-and-comer Justin Quiles was a strong presence on Billboard's Latin charts this week (dated Aug. 20) with the release of his new album. The singer and songwriter earned his first solo charting set with La Promesa debuting at No. 2 on the Top Latin Albums chart, while his single "Si Ella Quisiera" reached a new peak on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, hopping 20-18.

Prior to his chart milestone, he's kept busy working with other artists. His projects include Imperio Nazza: Justin Quiles Edition, a collaborative set with Los De La Nazza, which bowed at No. 9, and also penning hits for other Latin acts like J Balvin, Maluma and Yandel. The 26-year-old recently contributed three songs to Balvin's highly anticipated new album Energía, including "Por un Día" and "Primera Cita."

In honor of Quiles' chart highlights, here are five other songs you may not have known were written by the Connecticut-born artist.

"Pierde los Modales," J Balvin feat. Daddy Yankee

"Take It Off," Lil Jon feat. Yandel & Becky G

"Recuérdame," Maluma

"Loba," Yandel

"Mi nena," Yandel
